INVITATION TO BID
For the
BROOKHAVEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Addition and Renovation
Sealed bids for a proposed Brookhaven Elementary School, will be received by the Monongalia County Board of Education (hereafter known as the Owner), attention Dr. Frank Devono, Superintendent, 13 South High Street, Morgantown, West Virginia, 26501 until 1:30 pm L.P.T., on Monday October 17, 2016, for furnishing labor and materials and performing all Work set forth in the Contract Documents prepared by Omni Associates – Architects which will be available as of September 15, 2016.
The project will be bid under both Single Prime and Multiple Contracts as follows:
1. Bid Package No. 0 – Single Prime Contract
2. Bid Package No. 1 – General Trades Construction Contract
3. Bid Package No. 2 – Mechanical Contract
4. Bid Package No. 2a-Plumbing Contract
5. Bid Package No. 2b-HVAC Contract
6. Bid Package No. 3 – Electrical Contract
7. Bid Package No. 4 – Automatic Fire Suppression Contract
Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids, all proposals that have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of the Contract Documents will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Complete hard copy sets of Drawings and Specifications may be obtained from the office of the Omni Associates, 207 Jefferson Street, Fairmont, WV 26554, for a nonrefundable fee of $375.00 per set to include a PDF copy on CD. Mandatory Pre-bid Conference:
A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at the Brookhaven Elementary School, 1215 Baker Street, Morgantown, West Virginia on Tuesday September 27, 2016 at 4:00 pm L.P.T.
Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders. The Monongahela County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informalities.
