PUBLIC AUCTION The City of Beckley and the Beckley Sanitary Board are seeking bids for the sale of several pieces of surplus property. The surplus property will include surplus vehicles, including Police Department seizures. Also, there will be a variety of automobile parts and tires included in the auction. The auction will be on the GovDeals.com website. You must register on the website to participate in the auction. Among the items to be auctioned are: 2011 Honda Element, 2006 Ford Focus, 1994 Jaguar (police seizure), 2004 Honda motorcycle (police seizure), 2004 Mercedes Benz (police seizure), several lots of Goodyear P225-60 R16 tires and a 1995 L-88 Chevrolet engine. Auction date and deadline will be noted on the website. Equipment may also be viewed by contacting the City of Beckley between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
