PUBLIC NOTICE
The Village of Bethlehem, a municipal corporation, does hereby give Public Notice that it will provide for an election to authorize the renewal of the existing additional tax levies for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2018, July 1, 2019, and July 1, 2020, to provide funds for the Village’s share of funding for a system of urban mass transit to be provided by the Ohio Valley Regional Transportation Authority. The question of such additional levy shall be submitted to a vote on the general election ballot to be held on November 8, 2016. Voting precincts #107 and #108 in Bethlehem are located at Bethlehem Elementary School, 22 Chapel Road. Voting hours will be the voting hours of the general election, as established by the State of West Virginia.

An Election to authorize the renewal of the existing additional levies for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2018, July 1, 2019, and July 1, 2020, and for the purpose of providing funds for the share of the Village of Bethlehem of funding for any deficit of operating costs and the costs of acquiring capital equipment and facilities for the same period for a system of urban mass transit to be provided by the Ohio Valley Regional Transportation Authority according to the ordinance of the Council of the Village of Bethlehem adopted on the 18th day of April, 2016.
The additional levy in the Village of Bethlehem per $100.00 of current assessed value shall be on Class I property 4.06 cents; on Class II property 8.12 cents; on Class III property, none; on Class IV property 16.24 cents.
