GREENBRIER VALLEY AIRPORT
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Greenbrier Valley Airport is accepting proposals to retrofit a minimum of one, potentially three, steel frame aircraft hangars with larger doors. Doors should be quoted at 24 foot height and both 80 and 90 foot width. Doors may be bi-fold or roller track. Proposals must meet all current wind loads and have supporting engineering loads calculated for installation and permitting purposes. Existing doors do not allow full utilization of hangar interior height, and current doors are 20 ft. tall and 72 ft. to 80 ft. wide. Competitive bids would provide full services of a General Contractor and a turn-key project. Greenbrier Valley Airport Authority is also willing to accept proposals that provide only doors and installation, but require GVAA to sub-contract local excavating and concrete foundation work is required. This is not a prevailing wage project and is not subject to federal funding guidelines. Pictures of existing structures will be available on http://www.GVAirport.com
