AUTHORITY
REQUESTS FOR BIDS

THE HIGHLANDS

Sealed bids will be received until Thursday, June 2, 2016, at 3:00 pm, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud for the following:

OCDA Project # WH001-0001
“57,000 sf Light
Manufacturing and
Office Facility”

Bid Package 3C-
Plumbing
Big Package 3D – HVAC
Bid Package 3E –
Fire Sprinkler System
Bid Package 3F –
Electrical and Fire Alarm

A satisfactory bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each bid is required. Copies of plans, specifications and proposal forms can be obtained from:

Payment of a $100.00 deposit is required. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such set within ten (10) days after the bid opening and in good, useable condition, will be refunded the deposit less postage. Bids are to be sealed and addressed to Ohio County Development Authority, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 and noted on the envelope as a bid for: OCDA Project #: WH001-00001 “57,000 sf Light Manufacturing and Office Facility,” with the appropriate Bid Package number and name.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016, at 3:00 pm at West Liberty University, Highlands Campus, 355 Wharton Circle, Suite 200, Triadelphia, WV 26059.

Any Bid withdraw shall be governed by WV Code 5-22-2.

The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The Authority reserves the right to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and opening proposals. Also the Authority reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest qualified responsible bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Project. The Authority further reserves the right to waive any informality in a bid or reject such an informal bid if it is to their advantage to do so.
