BID NOTICE
The City of Mannington is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of a 2017 Ford F-550, regular cab, 141 Wheel Base, 60” cab to axle, dual rear wheels, snow plow prep package, 6.8 liter V10 Gasoline Engine, automatic transmission with PTO provision and 40 gallon standard rear fuel tank,103USD9 Galion 304 stainless steel dump body ( 9’ x 84” inside width x 24” tall tailgate & front x 18” tall sides), 10 Galion 304 stainless steel body shell, stainless steel quick latch top tailgate hinge, tailgate spreader chains & locks, gussets on top of sides to allow for addition of wood side boards, hoist with approx 9.4 ton capacity, 6” direct lift pusher type double acting cylinder, 12 volt electric hydraulic power unit with push button controller in cab, or its equivalent. Additional specifications are available at city hall to interested bidders. Bids must be submitted by 4:00 P.M. on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the City Clerk’s Office, City of Mannington, 206 Main Street, Mannington, WV 26582. Please indicate “Truck Bid” on outside of envelope. City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
